Heritage Theatre’s summer kids program is geared to help kids learn the basics in theatre in a fun and educational way.
Based on Hans Christians Andersen’s The Ugly Duckling, Honk! Jr. tells the story of an odd-looking baby duck, Ugly, and his quest to find his mother. Soon after Ugly is born, he is led astray by a wily Cat who wants to eat Ugly for dinner. Eventually, Ugly manages to escape but has no idea how to return home.
Audition Information:
May 3rd and 4th from 6:00 – 9:00 pm
Callbacks: May 6th by invitation only starting at 9:00 am
Please be prepared to sing an excerpt from one of the following songs from the show.

Audition Pieces
Rehearsals:
Rehearsals will be held, starting in June, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday mornings 9:00 AM – 12:00 (noon)
Rehearsals for the month of May will be discussed during the parent meeting on May 13th at 9:00 AM
Additional rehearsals will be added as we get closer to opening night.
Tuition:
$100.00 which includes a cast shirt. A discount is given for multiple participants from the same family. We also have scholarships available. Please reach out to the box office for more information.
Performances:
Performances are July 13th, 14th, 15th, and 17th with a matinee on the 15th.
